WIBA

The Work Injuries Benefits (WIBA) Act No. 13 of 2007, requires that all employers must provide compensation to employees for work-related injuries or diseases contracted as a result of work. WIBA insurance policy responds to the requirements of the above Act. WIBA covers employees whilst on duty against accidental bodily injury, disablement, or death. Compensation is payable in accordance with the provisions of the WIBA Act 2007. The maximum benefit is set at 96 months’ salary.

NOTE: WIBA policy does not cover the armed forces, minors, business owners, and employees deployed outside Kenya.

WIBA also covers:

  4. Prosthetics
